Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a artist who was born in Newark, New Jersey on the 9th of August, 1963. Their parents include gospel singers Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard), and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick sings as well. In her early years, she sang in her New Hope Baptist Church Choir in Newark. By the time she was fifteen, Houston was singing professionally with backing vocals alongside her mother for Chaka Khan's song from 1978 Im Every Woman. In 1981, she briefly did a stint as a fashion model and appeared on the Seventeen cover. She also performed backing vocals to Lou Rawls and Jermaine. The vocals she sang with the band from New York Material have attracted record companies of all sizes, including Arista. They signed her with Arista in 1983 and spent the remainder of her career. Whitney Houston was her debut album. Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and quickly became the top-selling album of the debut artist. On the album, she released several hit singles such as Saving All My Love for You How Do You Know You're Good to Love and The Greatest Love of All. This resulted in her having seven US Number Ones in a row. She beat even the Beatles. The album itself sold 3 million copies in its debut season in the US as well as sell 25 million worldwide winning it the very first one of six Grammys. The Whitney album followed in 1987 and the singles What Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to further build upon the success of her first album. However, it was it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her status as one the world's most loved artist. The movie and her role in it were not very appreciated, but the soundtrack and her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You were charting for months on the charts and she sold more than 44 million singles and albums across the globe. The same year, she was married the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she has a single child Bobbi Kristina Brown. She was born in the month of March 1993. In 1996, her use of drugs was documented.

Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN political reporter and anchorwoman. She has also produced some of the network's weekend programs such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.' She was also a reporter for other famous channels, such as NBC and CBS.
